理事會主席的話 香港青年獎勵計劃在港已成立六十載，自 1961 年起，致力推動非正規教育，以求接觸 不同階層、背景的青年人，發掘他們不同領域的潛能。在過去 60 年，有超過 81,000 名 青年人完成章級活動，全方位裝備自己，發展個人成長，為人生做足準備。本人衷心 感激贊助人香港特別行政區行政長官林鄭月娥女士，大紫荊勳賢，GBS、民政事務局、 為獎勵計劃奠定穩固根基的歷屆主席、眾成員、同事以及各支持者，共同建立平台推展 青年工作；同時本人深感榮幸能夠以理事會主席身份，見證獎勵計劃的不同里程及成長。 本人非常感激政府有關部門以及合作團體對 AYP 一直以來的支援與協助，期望將來可 以與 AYP 並肩前行，繼續推動青年發展工作。另外，本人亦特別感謝香港賽馬會慈善 信託基金的慷慨資助，使香港青年獎勵計劃賽馬會愛丁堡公爵訓練營順利重建，並於本年 三月正式開幕。訓練營經過重建後，擴大了營地面積以及營地容量，更集合了科技創新、 社企及環保等元素，讓更多青年人及大眾可享受歷奇探索及宿營郊野之樂趣。 在過去一年多，儘管疫情為社會帶來種種挑戰，但有賴各捐助者、支持者、義工及職員 的同心協力，使得 AYP 可以積極突破重重考驗，一同譜寫出精彩的一年。適逢六十周年， AYP 將推行各種慶祝活動，推廣獎勵計劃的使命。藉此機會，本人特別感謝慶祝六十 周年籌備委員會主席彭穎生先生，MH 和一眾委員會成員的籌劃及執行，並誠邀大家參與 其中，共慶鑽禧。 愛丁堡公爵畢生致力發展青年人的無限潛力，是青年工作、非正規教育的先驅。2021 年 為愛丁堡公爵一百周年誕辰，AYP 與國際青年獎勵計劃連成一線，一同顯揚愛丁堡公爵 光輝一生，並展望將愛丁堡公爵的願景一一實現。最後，本人希望大家回顧過去六十年 的各個重要時刻，同時一起展望 AYP 未來開創的里程。在此，我期盼 AYP 與各界繼續 攜手合作，共創下一個輝煌六十年。

Message from Chairman of Award Council The Hong Kong Award for Young People established in Hong Kong since 1961 is a global framework of non-formal education with a vision to reach young people with diverse backgrounds and equip themselves as individuals to succeed in life. Over 81,000 young people have achieved the Award and developed into more well-rounded and forward planning individuals ready for a bright and sustainable future. This year, AYP is celebrating our 60th anniversary. I am honoured to witness this historical moment and
special thanks to our Patron, The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam, GBM , GBS, the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Home Affairs Bureau, my respected predecessors who laid a solid foundation, AYP members, colleagues and supporters for joint effort in establishing the platform in youth work. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to various government departments, Operating Authorities and supporting organisations for their assistance and support all along. I look forward to continued fruitful collaboration. More than that, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for the redevelopment project of our Training Camp in Tai Po. Our new camp, opening in March this year has increased camp capacity which is a breakthrough and has raised the bar by integrating innovation, fun, social elements and environmental protection all in one facility. Young people and families will experience adventure and fun at our camp. The pandemic is challenging and affected some of our operations in the past year. Thanks to the unfailing support from donors, supporters, volunteers and colleagues, we face the challenge and tackle the problems together. In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Victor Pang, MH, Chairman of 60th Anniversary Celebration Organising Committee and other members for programme preparation and execution. HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was a champion of the infinite potential of young people and a pioneer in non-formal
education and learning. 2021 also marks 100th year of our Founder. We celebrate our anniversary and at the same time will continue to ensure The Duke’s vision can continue and grow. While we are looking back to our 60 years of history, we look forward to creating more milestones and working together for another glorious 60 years!

慶祝六十周年籌備委員會主席的話 今年欣逢香港青年獎勵計劃鑽禧周年紀念，本人深感榮幸可以擔任慶祝六十周年籌備委員會主席，與各位委員和同事攜手 籌劃慶祝活動。 首先，本人借此機會，衷心感激 AYP 的贊助人香港特別行政區行政長官林鄭月娥女士，大紫荊勳賢，GBS，於訓練營開幕禮 以視像形式致辭，為六十周年紀念活動揭開序幕。 為紀念這個别具意義的時刻及六十周年的重要里程碑，獎勵計劃將會以全方位方式加強與青年人的溝通，提高各單位對 非正規教育的重視，以及與各持份者保持密切聯繫。另外，我們希望可以透過不同的宣傳推廣，包括贊助廣告、紀念年刊、 網上宣傳、社交平台以及各個辦事處和中心的主題裝飾，向大家展示獎勵計劃歷年重大成就，同時亦藉此提升大眾對獎勵 計劃的認知，推動更多青年人參與計劃的活動。除此之外，我們亦殷切期望與不同執行處和機構聯手合作，策劃五科活動， 促進青年人的健康全人發展。 現在儘管疫情未穩定，對我們的工作難免有所影響，但我們仍會密切留意情況發展，竭盡所能因應轉變穏妥策劃工作、 全心全意為 AYP 出一分力。 最後，容我再次向一直以來大力支持獎勵計劃的社會賢達表達衷心謝忱！獎勵計劃能取得今日的成果，完全有賴各界的鼎力 支持與協助。我誠懇盼望各位在來年繼續支持我們的工作，為香港的青年人培養勇於挑戰困難及積極堅毅的精神。

Message from Chairman of 60 th Anniversary Celebration Organising Committee This year marked the Diamond Jubilee of The Hong Kong Award for Young People. It is my great honour to be the Chairman of the Organising Committee and work hand in hand with committee members and colleagues to prepare for the anniversary programme. Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Patron, The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS, the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, for making a congratulatory video speech at our camp opening ceremony, which kick-started our programme. Celebrating 60th anniversary and this crucial milestone, we have integrated communications approach to strengthen communications with young people, reinforce the importance of non-formal education and engage different stakeholders. Besides, we hope to promote with different communications mix which include sponsored advertising, anniversary booklet, digital, social media promotion and themed decoration at office or centres to introduce our history and achievement, enhance our visibility and promote the Award as a whole. More than that, we sincerely wish to collaborate with different Operating Authorities and organisations to organise five sections activities with the objective to let young people experience our programme and promote healthy development of them. Though the pandemic is posing a challenge which affecting our work to some extent, we are closely monitoring its development and will give our best and whole-hearted effort to make relevant change and ensure proper arrangement. Last but not least, let me express once again my earnest gratitude to all friends and supporters for all your strong support. The success of the Award is made possible only with your countless efforts and assistance. I sincerely wish you will continue to support our work in coming years, and empower Hong Kong young people with the value of challenge taking and perseverance.

香 港 青 年 獎 勵 計劃賽馬會野外鍛鍊中 心 野外鍛鍊中心位於西貢，提供創新及專業的水上活動服務， 如平板賽艇、獨木舟、立划板、龍舟及各類水上活動證書 課程等。中心亦提供各類到校及於中心內舉行的訓練營， 讓青年人有全面的發展。
HKAYP Jockey Club Expeditions Centre We offer a wide range of professional water sports training such as board rowing, canoeing, stand up paddle-boarding, dragon boating and other certificate courses. The centre also provides various training programmes and on-site service to enable young people to have a comprehensive development.
