With the strong support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, with a donation of HK$203 million, our Training Camp has re-developed. The Opening Ceremony was organised successfully on 27 March 2021! At the same time, Jockey Club 'Camily' Project and Jockey Club Diversity Mentoring Youth Project kick started as well. We are delighted to have Guest of Honour The Honourable Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS, The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, together with officiating guests Mr. Caspar Tsui, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr. Michael T H Lee, JP, Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mr. Lo Yan-lai, MH, JP, Chairman of the Award Council, as well as Mr. Rock Chen, SBS, JP, the Honorary President of AYP and Trustee of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, to witness a new milestone of AYP. | 香港青年獎勵計劃的兩名資深義工林仲安先生及陳德御先生，於2021年3月4日舉行的民政事務局局長嘉許計劃2020年頒獎典禮上，獲得由民政事務局局長徐英偉先生，太平紳士頒發的嘉許狀及獎章，以表揚他們多年來致力推動青年發展。 兩名義工導師分別服務了獎勵計劃 28年及16年。作為提名機構，AYP見證了兩位的熱心付出。林仲安先生一直於遠足及獨木舟項目上用心教導青年人；而陳德御先生則培育了很多有特殊需要的學員挑戰自我！衷心感謝所有AYP的義工及導師一直為AYP無私的付出及奉獻！
Two devoted AYP volunteers, Mr. Lam Chung-on and Mr. Chan Tak-yu, received the Certificate of Commendation from Mr. Caspar Tsui Ying-wai, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs, at Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation Scheme Presentation Ceremony 2020 on 4th March 2021. AYP feel so proud of our nomination of outstanding volunteers. Mr. Lam is devoted to the teachings of AYP's expeditions and canoeing, while Mr. Chan has supported a lot of young people with special needs to challenge themselves! We are deeply thankful for the contribution from our volunteers and instructors over the years! |
